He graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, OK, with a bachelor's degree in Missions and Biblical Studies in 2015. While attending Heartland, he met his future wife, Lacy Plumlee. She was raised in a ministry home and received Christ at the age of 13 in Goldendale, WA. Upon graduating, Lucas and Lacy were married on September 5, 2015, and returned to Temple Baptist Church as Missions Interns. The following summer, they worked at Silver State Baptist Youth Camp in CO. That same year, he accepted the call to pastor Berean Baptist Church of Walla Walla, WA where he pastored for 7 years. During his ministry there, the Lord blessed a once-struggling congregation with both numerical and spiritual growth. After turning the work in Walla Walla over to a new pastor, he accepted the call to pastor Yakima Bible Baptist Church at the end of 2023.
Lucas Hadley accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Saviour at the age of 11 while attending Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado, KS, under the leadership of Ron Jones. He surrendered to full-time Christian service at the age of 17 during a youth conference hosted by Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Lucas has a passion for helping individuals know God through the gospel and grow in their relationship with God through His Word. With so many churches worshipping God on their terms, he desires that church be a place where individuals can still truly meet with God on His terms and according to His Word. He hopes that through his service to the Lord, others might have the opportunity to “...grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18)
